Can ISACA’s copyrighted IP be translated into non-English languages? If so, what rules govern the translation process?

0

ISACA recognizes the need for the availability of knowledge in non-English languages for the benefit of ISACA members and the profession. Therefore, ISACA encourages and facilitates the translations of frameworks, research and articles by third parties. Any individuals or organizations wishing to translate copyrighted IP into non-English languages must submit a written request and business case for the translation. All translations of ISACA IP require the execution of a translation agreement prior to the start of a translation. All translated materials must be faithful translations of the English language version. Translations must be peer-reviewed and validated by experts in the IT governance, information security and assurance fields and who are fluent in the translated language to ensure appropriateness and accuracy of the work. Only after successful completion of this review will ISACA grant approval of the translation and post it on the web site as an approved translation. In all
