Can IS students do a Masters Project or Masters Thesis?

IS students are not required to do a Masters project or Masters thesis. However, we strongly encourage that you consider a one-semester (masters project) or two-semester (masters thesis) of as part of your CIS elective courses. Students planning to go on for a Ph.D. especially will find the Masters Thesis to be useful preparation.
