Can irregular periods affect the chances of getting pregnant?
I have irregular periods varying from 30-31 days to a whole 2 months. If I had sex after 10 days since the first day of my period, what are the odds of me getting pregnant? The situation is that say my partner did not reach ejaculation (stopped just 3-4mins in to it) It’s just bothering me that I might get pregnant and now is just not yet the right time for it. Please help me out with your knowledge.
Irregular periods may make it more difficult to calculate ovulation dates when trying to become pregnant….lessening your chances of conception. However, you should know that any time you choose to have unprotected sex your chances of pregnancy increase! If you do not want to become pregnant my advice to you would be to abstain from sex, or to use some form of protection. (male condom, female condom, IUD, birth control pills….etc.) It is not good practice to have unprotected sex unless you are ready to become a parent and endure the consequences which may occur!!
