IPS e.max ZirPress has been developed for pressing onto zirconium oxide. Therefore, the shades have been specially developed for this application. From a materials science point of view, inlays and onlays can be fabricated using this material. However, the aesthetic potential of the product is limited because of the opacity of the ingots. This must be taken into consideration during fabrication.
