Can Internet based assessments be made “cheat proof”?
The only way any assessment, on line or other, can be made “cheat proof” is by physical supervision of the participant while he or she is completing the assessment. The WebQuizWiz® isn’t cheat proof, however we promote an alternative style of learning. Even if individuals group together to take a test, our WebQuizWiz® system draws questions at random from a pool of questions. Therefore, no two tests are ever exactly alike. Since we’re a Knowledge Reinforcement/learning aid, certain types of “cheating” such as group discussions, referring to documentation, reading materials and etc are actually encouraged. Because in the end, we want the end user to have a better understanding of the material, no matter how they get there.
