Can international students be MTC teachers? Are there special restrictions?

Yes, international students may be MTC teachers. International student employment is regulated by U.S. Immigration Laws, and as such, international students must have work approval from BYU International Services. Legally, international students may not work more than 20 hours per week except during pre-approved vacation times or if they are on an EAD card.
