A. Yes. Occasionally injured workers are charged with fraud. You should be extra careful to avoid claiming that you cannot do things you do or have done while you are under treatment for your injury. If you fail to disclose that you are working while collecting full temporary disability payments, you may be putting yourself in a fraud situation. There are other ways that allegations of fraud could arise. This could include intentionally exaggerating your symptoms. Make it a rule to tell the truth to your treating doctors, the evaluating doctors, the lawyers and the court.
