0

Question Posted October 10, 2000: I am 7 months pregnant and have a five year old. I have been with my husband for 11 years and married to him for 7 of the eleven. I want to know if a counselor/therapist could help me and my marriage. My husband is not willing to see a therapist and basically would rather get divorced or just “live” together for kids sake. Do you think seeing a therapist on my own could help our marriage or is it too late? I still love my husband very much and want to do whatever I can to repair the damage over the years, but he seems too unforgiving and unwilling. I can’t stay in a marriage “just living together” for our kids sake, it is too painful. Am I being selfish? The problems in our marriage are completely my fault and it has taken me this long to figure this out. I am now willing more than ever to repair it and do whatever it takes, but my husband is not responsive, he is distant, not interested in me, would rather spend his time alone, and would be perfectly
