Can implants lift sagging breasts?
To a small degree, implants have the ability to lift sagging breasts similar to how a beach ball is inflated. A beach ball normally rises when you inflate the empty rubber ball, and a similar thing happens with loose, empty skin on a breast, as well. Even though beach balls inflated with air dont have any weight, it is not the same with breasts. When a breast is injected with saline which has the same density has normal breast gland tissue, it holds some weight. The bigger the implant, the heavier it is. Even though bigger and heavier implants will decrease the elevation of the breasts to some extent, in general, most women will experience some elevation of the nipple following implant placement.
