Can iMac/Snow Leopard use pictures on a Network Server for ScreenSaver?

0

I cannot get my iMac to display pictures on a Network Server for my ScreenSaver. I go to System Prefs, Desktop & ScreenSaver. I hit the + button to add a Folder of Pictures, I navigate to the Server Folder (it shows the folder, and all of the pictures in it) and press Choose. It then goes back to the Desktop/ScreenSaver screen, but the folder I just chose is not listed. When navigating to it, I’ve tried just highlighting the folder I want from the parent folder, and opening that folder as well with no luck. This works no problem on all of my other (non-Apple) computers. Since I can see the folder and the pictures, the server seems to be set up right and the iMac recognizes the drive (I can open anything on the server from Finder). Is there a step I’m missing here? Thanks for any help.
