Can I work a part-time job and/or raise financial support?
We require every protégé to serve a minimum of 20 hours per week at Mosaic, while also allotting approximately 10-15 hours per week for courses, course work, and learning labs. It’s up to each protégé whether they raise financial support or work part-time (up to 25 hours per week). We want each protégé to have enough financial support to free them to fully engage Mosaic for 2 years and optimize their experience. You can work an outside job if you prefer, and/or you can raise financial support through your network of family and friends. If you do choose to work, remember the program needs to take priority over your job, especially in terms of scheduling, but we do recommend this, and working a part-time job is what most proteges do. *We are also open to dialoguing about your specific situation as well if you are concerned about this setup in terms of financially or a current job you may have.
