The SportBand water resistance is 5ATM, which means it can withstand 50 meters of pressure (NOT depth). In other words, the SportBand can be used while showering, in the rain, or while swimming in shallow water. ATTENTION: Water damage may occur if the buttons are pressed underwater. ATTENTION: Hot steam may cause damage to the product. Do not wear in a steaming shower, spa or hot tub. ATTENTION: Product should be rinsed thoroughly in fresh water after being exposed to salt water.
