Can i wear a thong bikini on philippine beaches?
A lot of Filipinos are conservative. In more provincial beaches, people will even wear shorts and shirts in the water. However, girls, especially in popular tourist spots like Boracay, do wear bikinis, but (usually) NOT thong bikinis. The ones that do wear bikinis don’t usually prance around doing so — you’ll notice that a lot of them will only remove their tops/shirts when they go in the water. So people are still a bit conservative. There’s nothing stopping you from wearing a thong bikini. I’m gonna warn you though — a lot of people will probably end up ogling you or taking really lame paparazzi shots since girls don’t usually wear thong bikinis here.
