Can i wear a non-astigmatism contact lens, if I have astigmatism?

I have a feeling that you were not fit for these contacts you plan on wearing for only 4 days. I also hope that these are not someone else’s contacts. The only way it would be safe to where spherical contacts (no astigmatism) and not toric (for astigmatism) would be if you have less than or equal to -0.75CYL. If you have any more than that then you would want toric lenses. But that decision would be made by your eye doctor during the fitting, which is the proper way to obtain contacts. I would consider the chance that one day during your vacation, your eye turns bright red and becomes painful and now you are searching for an eye doctor or spending your time in pain or uncomfortable…all so you don’t have to wear your glasses for 4 days. But that’s your decision.

What is your question?
