Can i wash my cat with human shampoo?
Human shampoo can irritate her skin. Shampoos are quite harsh. That’s why we can’t use them on our body. The last thing you need to do is give her a soap rash which will translate into even WORSE skin. What I would suggest though is that you try adding some sunflower seed oil or even a little olive oil to her food daily or every other day in order to get some essential fatty acids into her system. Fish oils would be even better. They should help improve the look of the coat once the skin gets healthier. Hopefully your house is not too dry, she has no underlying skin infections and her diet is of a better quality (cheap store bought cat foods do increase health problems in animals).
