Can I visit the committee members outside the designated meetings?
Yes, and you should. Though be careful here. Many students found the committee’s advice and guidance helpful. However, when you talk with them individually, they can lead you in conflicting directions. Ask them specific questions, and tell them what other committee members have said. Most people visit with committee members three or four times aside from the obligatory meetings. How often you visit is up to you, but don’t annoy them!
