• Yes, you can use massage oils rather than water based or silicone lubricants with the SEXplained… ® Funky Dam. • However, if you are going to be having penetrative sex later, with a latex condom, do NOT use an oil-based substance. Oil interacts with latex and will rot/burst/split the condom. • Any oil (including bath oil) should be washed off the genital area with soap and water, and then the area dried thoroughly before a latex condom is used. • Furthermore, lipstick should be washed off, and even saliva should be dried from a penis shaft thoroughly, before a latex condom is put on; otherwise, it is more likely to slip off during penetrative sex.
