Yes, remote live broadcasting from the field is an excellent example of what Wirecast can help you accomplish very easily, by just bringing a laptop and a camera. Additional parameters to consider when deciding what laptop to purchase are the following: CPU The CPU that are installed in most laptops have lowered wattage than their desktop counterparts. This helps the laptop use less power and be more mobile. In Wirecast this can potentially cause performance issues.
