Can I use WildPresenter Flash output for CD-ROM applications?

Yes, you can use WildPresenter to create Flash SWFs for CD-Rom and DVD-ROM applications, and WildPresenter can output projector files for Windows, Mac and Linux (Project Settings window>Output Tab) which are perfect for that purpose. If your project includes video, we recommend that you encode your video into the FLV format as it provides much better performance from CD than SWF. However, there are certain issues that you should consider. Because of the way Flash works, when you have a SWF on CD, the Flash player loads the entire file into memory before it starts to play. So, depending on your computer’s speed, ram, CD player speed, etc. your performance may vary. Consequently, we suggest not creating files larger than 10-25MB for use on a CD or DVD. If you want to have larger files, we suggest breaking them up and loading one after the previous one is finished and unloaded. WildPresenter will allow you to chain your SWFs by using the Load External File play mode.
