Can I use Vue 6 xStream with other applications/renderers than the one for which it was activated?
Yes, you can use Vue 6 xStream with any supported application/renderer, even if xStream has not been activated for this application/renderer. The integration plug-in will operate normally, but images will be rendered with a watermark, and files you create will only be readable on your system. These limitations will disappear once you activate Vue 6 xStream for this application/renderer (with an Extra Renderer license – see below). Example: a studio has acquired one copy of Vue 6 xStream and activated it for use with Maya|MentalRay. They can also use their copy of xStream to integrate Vue environments inside Maya|Software, 3DS Max, LightWave or Cinema4D, but any render they create will be watermarked, and the scene files will only be readable on the system that created them.
