Can I use Thunderbird, Outlook, Apple Mail, or another email client to access MyMail?
Yes. IMAP or POP can be enabled for your MyMail account. Simply login, choose settings, and enable the service you would like to use. Configuration settings and instructions can be found on the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” settings tab in your MyMail account settings. Note: These settings will be specific to Google. You will not use imap.mines.edu or pop.mines.edu to check mail. Settings can be found on Google’s help page under “Other ways to access Gmail.” Keep in mind your username for IMAP or POP access will be your full email address such as USERNAME@mymail.mines.edu and NOT USERNAME@gmail.com as the help pages imply.
