Can I use Thunderbird, Eudora, Outlook (or any pop/imap client) to read my Slashmail email?
We support IMAPS (‘S’ as in ‘secure’ or ‘SSL’) for all non-trial users. Point your IMAP client to ‘Slashmail’ as the IMAP server, and make sure and choose the option to support SSL for this connection (TCP 993). For SMTP server use ‘Slashmail’ (TCP 25), choose ‘SMTP requires authentication’, and enable and/or force use of TLS/SSL. Click here for detailed instructions (screenshots) on how to configure the clients.
