AAs of the SP1 release, iAS allows access to databases using any JDBC type-2 driver. This has been tested using drivers supplied by Oracle, Merant and Sybase, but others should work. However, although these drivers should allow the use of container-managed connections (connection pooling, etc), global transactions are not yet supported.
