Can I use third-party Internet software over Sify BroadBand ?
Yes, you may use any third party Internet Software that your operating system supports. Yet, for registration and renewal, a Java Script enabled browser is required. Currently, Technical Support for Netscape and other Third Party Software Products is minimally based. The bulk of our customers and our system programs are Microsoft-based and require the majority of our Technical Specialty Resources. However, this is not to say that you, as a customer, cannot or should not utilize Netscape or a Third Party Software Program for your Internet functions. What this does mean, to you as a Sify Broadband customer, is that we will provide you with the same information, pertaining to your ability to connect to our systems, as we would to any other customer utilizing only the Microsoft-based products that we do extensively support.
