No, we do not offer service coverage outside or in your home. The YodelNet HotSpot network is LAN-based, not cellular; therefore the service is intended to be used from within specific physical public locations. In some cases, coverage will spill out into a small area surrounding a service location. The Wi-Fi 802.11b technology is not proprietary, and equipment can be purchased to establish a homeWiFi wireless network. The same wireless networking card could be used on a private Wi-Fi network as on YodelNet’s public Wi-Fi network.
