Can I use the Universal College Application to apply as a transfer student?

Yes. Most but not all, member institutions allow transfer students to apply using the Universal College Application. We urge you to review the college’s transfer admission instructions or contact the college to which you want to apply (1) to be sure they accept the Universal College App from transfers; and (2) to determine what other requirements they may have (e.g., a letter of recommendation from a college professor, SAT scores). All will require a college transcript, but it need not be forwarded with the Universal College App College Report. If you have further questions about specific transfer requirements from the colleges, you should contact the college directly.
