Can I use the third edition of the textbook instead of the current edition (i.e., the fourth edition)?

The fourth edition of Dan P. McAdams’ The Person is considerably different from its predecessor. One chapter has been removed, another chapter has been added, and more than 200 pages in all have been cut from the last edition. I strongly advise you against trying to use the third addition in its place. The fourth edition of The Person is the textbook for this course.
