The Snap Dragon Frame is designed for heavy weight fabrics, like jute cloth, monk’s cloth, warp cloth and linen. Lighter weight fabrics can shred or tear when the paddles are engaged to stretch the fabric. However, the frame can be used by engaging the paddles first and then loading the fabric, much like any non-mechanical frame that uses gripperstrips.
