No. The Sherlock* TLS is designed to detect the magnetic fields generated by the Sherlock* TLS stylet. Conventional PICCs do not generate a magnetic field, so they cannot be used in conjunction with the Sherlock* TLS. The Sherlock* TLS must only be used with Bard Access Systems central venous catheters that contain the Sherlock* TLS stylet.
