Can I use the Sansa Connect at my favorite local hotspot?
You should be able to use it at most free public hotspots that provide open access or basic security (WEP or WPA personal) access. Unless there is a diversion to a ‘terms of use agreement’ or billing web page during the connection process, you will be able to connect without any problems. You can check the hotspot using a laptop to find out if there is an authorization web page required for connection to the internet.
