Change the browser proxy settings to delete the Proxy Address to use and Port entries for Type = Secure. For those users who will use their OATI certificate to access the OATI webOASIS node and a non-OATI certificate to access non-OATI OASIS Nodes (which use a proxy server to establish a secure connection) simultaneously, the following changes must be made within the Internet Explorer browser. Go to the Tools menu, select Internet Options, and choose the Connections tab. Under Local Area Network (LAN) Settings, choose LAN Settings button. Under Proxy Server, choose the Advanced button. Uncheck the Use the same proxy server for all protocols option. For Type = Secure, delete the Proxy Address to use and Port entries (the same procedure can be completed for Types FTP, Gopher, and Socks if desired). The Type = HTTP Proxy address to use and Port entries must be left intact. Click OK to all open dialogue boxes to finish.
