The PORTACOUNT can be used to measure filter efficiency, but only if a generated aerosol is used such as .12 or .3 micron DOP. Ambient air cannot be used since efficiency is a function of particle size and you don’t know the size. Ambient air can be used with the PORTACOUNT to leak check HEPA filters.
