Can I use the PicoTurbine educational kit to charge batteries or provide electricity for my house?

No. The current version of PicoTurbine only produces a fraction of a watt, just enough to light a small LED in a good stiff wind. The average house in the USA uses something like the equivalent of 1 kilowatt continuously (about 750 kilowatt-hours per month). The purpose of the little PicoTurbine educational kit is education, not practical energy production. We do not produce full sized units, we concentrate on education only. Please do not write to us asking for full sized units to power houses! We don’t do that! It would be like you asking a Tonka to provide you will full sized trucks.
