can i use the phone transmitter on the same phone line with a modem ?
the phone transmitter is using the phone line current as power source. That is one of the reasons the phone transmitter can be so small ( eliminating the need for AC power source or a battery ) . therefore the phone transmitter is using some of the current intended for other devices connected to your phone. Different phone companies are using different currents to “push” the phone devices connected to there system. The current they are using also varies depending on the distance of the phone company from your house / office. From our experience in some areas the transmitter works along with the use of any modem. In other areas it won’t , there is no specific modem to use which will fix that problem if it occurs. Other phone transmitters in the market which are not using the current from the phone line as a power source , are using a battery or AC adapter which is connected to the transmitter . this arrangement makes the device ( transmitter and power source ) so big which makes it impo
