Can I use the PanHandler DirectX in Cakewalk, SAWPro, or VST ?

The PanHandler DirectX only works in stereo only editors, i.e. Sound Forge and Wave Lab. It will not work in a multi-track format, i.e. CakeWalk, SAWPRO, and VST. The main reason is DirectX doesn’t allow for automation. The PanHandler has to use it’s own automation and needs to have the same starting sample position from which to begin, i.e. Sample Position “0”. In a multi-track situation you can start anywhere. This would obviously throw off the automation, though you could theoretically always start the multi-track at the very beginning of the song. We do have the PanHandler available for SAWPRO, and VST.
