Can I use The O2 Algae and Mold Removal System on all types of Wood?
No, although The O2 Algae and Mold Removal System will work on all types of exterior wood, we do not recommend using The O2 System on redwood or cedar. Reason is, the powerful Ultra Violet Reactive Particles (UVRPs) used in The O2 System are so effective, that they may continue to lighten redwood and cedar to a “white driftwood” colored state. While The O2 System may also continue to lighten other types of wood as it works to prevent the return of algae, mold and mildew; it is normally just redwood and cedar that can experience drastic lightening.
