Yes! However ,without using a remote control ,you can operate the MemoCam in armed mode only. You can set the recordings configuration while the MMC is inserted to the MMC Reader connected to the PC. Click on File and then choose the Arm MemoCam unit option. Insert the MMC card into the MemoCam unit and your system will be armed automatically.
