Solution No. Although Altera® devices support boundary-scan testing, Altera does not develop software to test printed circuit boards (PCBs) via boundary scan. The MAX+PLUS II software only uses the Joint Test Action Group (JTAG) TAP controller to program and configure devices. Because PCBs generally contain devices from multiple vendors, you should use third-party tools for boundary-scan testing.
