Can I use the information that people write on the petition for other purposes, like creating a mailing list?
No. It is illegal for you to make copies of petitions with voters’ information on them and/or otherwise use the information written by the voters for any purpose other than qualifying the initiative for the ballot. You will be subjected to criminal penalties if you use the petition (or the voters’ information on the petition) for any reason other than helping us qualify the initiative for the ballot.
