The Import Assistant is intended to replace the use of smbXML imports. You can still use smbXML imports for record types not supported by the Import Assistant, including purchase-side transactions and some CRM records. For information about record types that the Import Assistant supports, see Supported Record Types for CSV Import. For information about record types supported for smbXML import, see the smbXML Guide. NetSuite’s SuiteTalk Web Services import tools provide another alternative for migrating data for record types not currently supported for CSV import, as well a solution for large or ongoing data migration projects.
