Yes. As the firmware implementation of Jan. 31, 2007. You can still capture the live video from HVX200 camera if there is no P2 cards inserted. However, you would need to manually start/stop the recording by pressing the REC button on the CitiDISK HD instead of the REC button on the camera. Engineers are working on the solution to start/stop the CitiDISK HD recording while no P2 card inserted.
