The data from the GPS receiver is always available and you can always get a map of the surrounding area, but you can not calculate or navigate a route in areas where there are no roads as the The Carphone Warehouse Navigator maps are road maps. Additionally, The Carphone Warehouse Navigator does not support any nautical charts.
