A. No, the backup utility is intended to save the user, group, and registry information from one ACS box and restore it to the same ACS box that runs the same version of software. If there is a need to clone an ACS box, replication is available instead. If you need to copy only users and groups from one server to another, issue the csutil -d command. The new dump text (.txt) file is then copied to the target box. After this, issue the csutil -n -l command in order to initialize the database and import the users and groups.
