TermiNET can be used to provide protection from external attack for PCs which connect to the web via a proxy. Outbound rules however are applied on the basis of the destination IP address, since connections made via a web proxy are not made directly to the destination address features such as outbound rules and blacklists can not be used in these circumstances.
