Can I use Sto coatings over sheathing as an exterior wall covering?
If an architect specifies the direct application of coatings to sheathing, we recommend EIFS in lieu of this application. In the event such an application continues to be specified and endorsed by the architect and is approved by the local building department, the Sto Corp. limited coatings materials warranty is valid. This warranty essentially warrants the material to be free from defects at the time of manufacture.
