Can I use Seagrass-Watch in of my groups name?
Seagrass-Watch HQ does not approve participants using “Seagrass-Watch” in their title or group name, eg “Seagrass-Watch Cairns”. Use of Seagrass-Watch within a title mistakenly implies that the group is a subsidiary/branch of Seagrass-Watch HQ, that the group speaks on behalf of Seagrass-Watch HQ, and that Seagrass-Watch HQ endorses all activities of the group (including activism). Using “Seagrass-Watch” in a group’s title is also misleading to participants and other stakeholders.
