Can I use Robertshaw Capacitance Level Instruments in a viscous process?
Yes, within reason. The process must drain off the probe in order for a level/capacitance change to take place. A reasonable amount of coating can be error compensated by using anti-coating probes/instruments. In such cases, periodic cleaning may be necessary. In extreme cases, a non-contact technology may be required. If in doubt, consult one of our representatives.
