You can use email providers other than Hotmail/MSN only if they have an Outlook interface. You may want to check with the technical support for your web based email provider to find out if they offer an Outlook interface. Another option would be to get a separate POP3 email account for use with Outlook. If you type “POP3 account” into a search engine, you will find many providers to choose from.
