Can I use regular tanning oils or lotions when tanning indoors?
A. No. Normal tanning oils and lotions can cause the acrylic bed to become dirty and block the UV light, creating less tan for you, and also damaging the acrylic bed. Special indoor tanning lotions can actually increase your tan, and keep your skin hydrated and nourished, while enhancing the youthful glow of your skin. We carry a variety of indoor tanning lotions in our shop. Q. Should I wear sunscreen when tanning indoors? A. No. Please consult the tanning specialist in our shop, who will help you pick the optimal time and bed for your skin type to prevent burning. We do however, recommend that you wear a lip balm with UV protection, as your lips have no ability to tan and protect themselves from UV exposure. Over-exposure of your lips to UV light can cause them to beome burnt, dry, and chapped. And palways wear eye protection. We offer a number of options for protecting your eyes. UV light can damage your eyes even when they are closed.
