Can I use regular/nonwhitening mouthwash with braces?

Yes, using mouthwash regularly with braces is a good idea b/c you buildup so much extra stuff. Any mouthwash that you like will work, but hydrogen peroxide really does wonders b/c it will bubble well down into the gums to keep them from swelling so much. Just swish with something, best at bedtime, spit, DO NOT rinse, or eat, or drink for 30 minutes or just go to bed. That little tiny bit left around the gums will keep them clean and healthy, as well as keeping clean between your teeth where it is hard to floss.
